Anna Kaczmarek-Kalandarishvili

Anna Kaczmarek-Kalandarishvili, born in Żyrardów, Poland, is a violinist with great stylistic range and international experience. At the age of nine, she debuted as a soloist with the Witold Lutosławski Symphony Orchestra Plock in her hometown. At 13, she was accepted at the Zenon Brzewski Music School for Gifted Children in Warsaw.

Her musical path later led her to the renowned Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where she studied from 2005 to 2010 in the class of Prof. K. Jakowicz and received her diploma with distinction. She then pursued further studies in the soloist class at the University of Music and Theatre Munich with Prof. G. Schneider, completing her master class diploma in 2012.

Since 2013, Anna Kaczmarek-Kalandarishvili has worked as concertmaster and section leader - including with the Hof Symphony, the Göttingen Symphony Orchestra, and the Schleswig-Holstein Symphony Orchestra. Since 2018, she has been a permanent member of the Münster Symphony Orchestra.

In addition to her stage presence, Anna Kaczmarek-Kalandarishvili is committed to nurturing young talent. Since 2022, she has been active as a teacher, juror, and organizer, and founded the "Steinfurt Summer Academy" initiative for young musicians.
